The first big historical and archeological project realized by Pierre Malinowski was dedicated to the Russian Expeditionary Force in France during the First World War.
After a year of studying the Russian and French archives and collecting the evidences of witnesses, Pierre Malinowski has found the first plane of the "Escadron de Chasse Normandie-Niemen" (model YAK-1).

From October 1 to 20, 2020 took place the first major Franco-Russian archaeological project in Crimea and Sevastopol. Despite the international situation due to covid-19, Pierre Malinowski managed to organize one of the only international cooperation projects of 2020 in Crimea.
On February 13, 2021 in Vyazma the burial ceremony of Russian and French soldiers who died in November 1812 during the retreat of Napoleon's army took place.
From 19 to 30 April 2021 the Foundation for the Development of Russian-French Historical Initiatives organized a new large-scale project in the Hero City of Volgograd on the theme of the Battle of Stalingrad.
From October 24 to November 3, 2021, the Foundation for the Development of Russian-French Historical Initiatives implemented a new large project dedicated to the siege of Leningrad.
On December 2, 2021, more than three years after the start of the search expedition, the national funeral for General Gudin took place at Les Invalids. The general was buried next to the Emperor Napoleon two centuries after his death in August 1812 in Smolensk.
An expert group led by the Institute of Archeology of the Russian Academy of Sciences has implemented the first Franco-Russian project since 2021. The project is organized and financed by our Foundation and is dedicated to the Battle of Maloyaroslavets.
In September 2023, Pierre Malinowski discovered the remains of 6 soldiers of the Russian Expeditionary Force in the middle of a field in Courcy on the Marne. The remains of the first three soldiers were buried in the Russian military cemetery of Saint-Hilaire-le-Grand in Department de la Marne on October 29, 2023.
